I had my real GMAT test couple of days ago and scored 20 points below the desired 700 mark. Quant section on real exam was bit harder than quant sections of OG or GMAT Prep, however my low mark (47) was due to my carelessness and rush. For quant section, I have lessons learnt for quants section such as "always remember to look at answer choices first" and etc.
However, I am totally clueless about verbal section. My 36 scaled score on verbal section makes me wonder what to improve, how to prepare for the next shot and etc. On the exam, I think I got first two questions (SC ones) right because next 4 questions (RC) from 3 to 6, inclusive, were a total disaster for me. I understood neither the topic nor the questions (inferences mostly). Now, I think I should have re-read the topic. I saw many many times people writing: "When you start noticing level 700 questions...." How come you know that a question is level 500, 600 or 700?
So, anyways, my question is: how to improve my verbal score?
Please advise.
