Wow. What class did you use that provides a 780 at the end? I want to use that class too!

That's unheard of to get that much improvement in just 2 weeks.... scores getting canceled because of improvement does not seem to be a pattern. We have seen people take the GMAT a single time and their score getting canceled for a mysterious reason with an appeal option. However, 140 point improvement in 2 weeks is yet to have happened on GMAT Club in 18 years of our existence. So either you are a genius who was a bit lazy and did not study for the first attempt or it is the other. Luckily, people who cheat usually are pretty non-genius and make a lot of dumb mistakes along the way and are easy to catch

If you took your test fair and square, I don't see reasons to worry.

Thanks for your compliments.

To debrief about my case: I was always good at math (perk being a Chinese) and studied in the U.S. for undergrad. I was also good at English writing, so I didn't have much problem with the verbal part either, except for SC questions.

I signed up for my first exam just to give it a shot, because I wasn't sure whether to apply for 2022 or 2023. I was expecting something like 680-700 though. But turns out I wasn't that comfortable with the whole GMAT online experience. I received 640 (Q47, V30) as the result.

So I signed up for two online courses taught by the top exam preparation teachers in China, spent lots of time to make sense with SC. I did mock exams 1~2 times every day and average scores were 740-760.

Finally during my second exam, everything went so smooth, I had a good feeling to get about 750. When I saw the final score of 780, I was surprised too!

Not I am anxious because I have already spent so much effort in exam preparation and MBA applications. If the score get cancelled or delayed uncommonly, it will bring too much trouble and uncertainty for my plans. Especially after I saw people had their scores cancelled for various reasons...

Fingers crossed now and hope the GMAC makes it right...

Looking at the GMAT Online Policies... As I quoted below...

"Beware of Score Cancellations
Note that in some instances, we may cancel your scores even if we cannot confirm your direct involvement in the violation or testing issue. Reasons scores are cancelled include:
Unusual score changes"

So they have the right to cancel my score even if they are just suspecting me violated...

Wow what an improvement in 15 days! Braking the 700 barrier in 15 days is hard enough. However, improving to 780 is really impressive! Congrats! I hope they will keep your score. Let us know when you receive your official score.

I had a huge improvement thanks to Target Test prep, trust me is the best course avaiable online...Their site and plane are truly amazing, with many REAL questions to practice daily.
