Humans and robots can both perform a job but at different efficiencies. Fifteen humans and five robots working together take thirty days to finish the job, whereas five humans and fifteen robots working together take sixty days to finish it.

How many days will fifteen humans working together (without any robot) take to finish the job?

Let us assume that a human and a robot take x & y days to finish the job.

Fifteen humans and five robots working together take thirty days to finish the job.
15/x + 5/y = 1/30 (1)

Five humans and fifteen robots working together take sixty days to finish it
5/x + 15/y = 1/60 (2)

How many days will fifteen humans working together (without any robot) take to finish the job?
x/15 = ?

15/x + 45/y = 1/20 3*(2)

3*(2) - (1)

40/y = 1/20 - 1/30 = 1/60
y = 60*40 = 2400 days

y in (1)
15/x + 5/2400 = 1/30
15/x = 1/30 - 1/480 = (16-1)/480 = 15/480
x/15 = 480/15 = 32 days
