the title of your thread scared me a bit...after being in a bad car wreck and spending a night in the hospital (where i fortunately had only minor injuries), i now am more sensitive to such things.

congrats on your job offers and i'm happy that you're still alive :)

Aw, Rhyme. Don't put Monkey Island in my mind. I have to find work, and that will consume days.

Congrats, kryzak.

I had the same reaction like peaceyall when I saw that. I was like...hmm I just saw Kryzakk 2 weeks ago..and..errr..what happened?!..

Glad you're actually doing more than ok..... Congratz on your intern !!
I think you'll enjoy Lucas. My friend is spending 1 year in SF office for 'training/intern' purpose in Lucas as well and he likes it a lot (he originally work for their Singapore office). So hopefully you'll find it enjoyable too.

Re: I'm still alive - a quick update on kryzak [#permalink]
thank you everyone for the good wishes! Wow, Monkey Island, old school is right rhyme! :) I was more of a Loom and Grim Fandango fan back then, haha!

The internship process for tech this year has been a bit crazy, and since I haven't seen a topic written for it in the Career or B-School Life forum (point me to it if I missed it), I'll write up something like what river and rhyme did (for energy and consulting/VC) for technology recruiting in the summer. I'm glad to say that many of my classmates looking for tech has found something that they are excited about.

peaceyall and cul3s, thanks for the note and sorry to scare you like that. I hope nothing like that happens for me or anyone here. peaceyall, was this recent? Glad to see you're ok!

With that, I leave you one of my favorite games of all time:

So many memories guys... I never understood Loom and I think I never managed to copy this one. But Monkey Island 2, Space Quest 5, man did I like these games!

It is like flashback; I am going to try to find an emulator for these tonight :) It is time to have fun again.

Good to see you back Kry and congratulations on your internship! I would definitely be interested in hearing about tech recruiting. I am headed to Anderson in Fall and have heard the same - startups & small tech firms have started posting more internships in the last 3-4 weeks. So, will be looking forward to your post.

Also, can you tell more about your internship function i.e. is it product marketing or buss. development?
