I have been preparing for the GMAT for a while now, however I still have a real low score for the CAT test.
I also do not seem to understand the algebra problems. I have the manhattan gmat book of algebra, and I have study this however I do not seem to manage.
Additionally, I have done the excersises from the 13th edition and from the quantitative review, I keep making the same mistakes.
According to my log book most of my mistakes are: First- and second degree equations but also the evaluation of expressions.
An excersise like: K- (3-Kˆ2) / (k) = X\K is already really difficult for me.
Do you know perhaps where I can find more of this type of excersises or where I can find an explanation that my help me.

Well i am not an expert but let me try.
MGMAT is the best book to start with the basics.
So before going to problems directly better try hold of basics first. Once ur very strong in basic then u hit OG problem only then u know the hints to approch the problems.

I'm sorry to hear that you are struggling with the algebra. Focus on building the basics before getting too far in to the OG 13 or any other Official Questions for that matter. If you are really struggling with the basics those questions are probably not going to help you. At this point you might consider a few sessions with a tutor. You don't need to spend the money on a GMAT Tutor but find a general Math Tutor who can walk you through some of this basic stuff. Along with that you can watch tutorials on Kahn Academy. For very basic things they can be helpful.
One more thing: have patience. This might take a bit of time but do take the time to learn things properly. Let me know if you have any questions!
