I did not quite understand the solution. Hi,

Could you please clarify why x takes the extreme position while arranging the table for Don pizza in ascending or descending order?

Wouldn't this phenomenon mean X is greater than 3.2 ?

No, this does not mean that. x is unknown, so when the table arranges the values, it simply places x at the top. But that does not mean x is greater than the other values in the sequence.
