Hi,

I have two queries.

1) Can I present PAN card issued by Indian Govt. as my ID proof?

2) The name on my pan card is written -- ZXY
where,
Z-- surname
Y--Father's name
X--My name

Will it create any problems?

PLEASE ADVISE.I HAVE EXAM IN FOUR DAYS

The only option with you is your Passport.
In case you have any doubt, double check your first and last name with the one in your gmat profile. In case of any discrepancy call the customer care.

You may use driving licensee as ID Proof

A Permanent Account Number (PAN) is one of the most important documents in the country today. It is an identification number which the Income Tax Department gives to all taxpayers.
PAN card is used as ID Proof as opening Bank Account and the government has made PAN card mandatory for all transactions above Rs 1 lakhs.
PAN card verification by Name and Date of Birth, PAN Verification by Name Online. You may also check Pan Card Verification Online by entering 10 digit PAN Number.

No, you can't use your PAN for an ID proof. Because it contains only name and father name with DOB, no address is mentioned on it. So you can't use you PAN as ID proof unless it is listed by authorities where you want to provide it.

you must use pan card as id proof

You can use other ID proof Like AADHAR Card, Voter ID and Driving Licence.

No AADHAR card cannot be submitted as an id proof at GMAT test center.You should have passport.Confirmed it just now.
