So I've got admitted to both IE and HKU (LBS) track. While I'm very excited to go to IE, I've been hearing nothing but horror stories related to placements after the end of the program.
HKU is a great school and was ranked #1 in Asia by the Economist. Are the placements out of HKU significantly higher than after IE? I'm not bothered about what part of the world I get placed in as long as I know the MBA will add enough value to my CV
Thanks

4.5 years of work ex in banking/vc sector. GMAT score was 650. Interview was more like a conversation, really enjoyed it. Asked all the basics about why I wanted to go to Hong Kong versus other schools and I had a lot of questions related to my CV. Interview lasted 20 minutes
Do they give case studies to be solved in the interview or is it purely conversation based as mentioned below.. Also was LBS your first preference. I have noticed that most students end up going to LBS. I have an interview scheduled and LBS is my second preference.

For Hong Kong B-school, CUHK and HKUST clearly outperformed HKU. HKU's world ranking dropped dramatically this year, and the learning environment is polluted by all those political things going on there.
