Hi everybody,
I am interested in entering the Strategy Consulting sector after a Masters degree, and I want to know which program would be better suited for that
1) IE Business School MIM with specialization in Strategic Management
2) ESSEC SMIB
I wish to learn and gain as many useful skills as possible related to the sector and get some internship experience before finding a job.
Factors to consider:
1) I'm an Indian, so getting a work visa would be an issue
2) The IE MIM would include a 25% scholarship
3) I have some preference for working in Europe, but it's not absolutely necessary for me to get work there. In the case of IE, if I can't find work in Europe, I would have to return to India
4) I am an engineering undergrad from a top-ranked NIT with some good grades and scores, decent extracurriculars and leadership positions, 1 Data Analytics intern under my belt and 1 biomedical AI intern upcoming, which would amount to 8 months of work experience before the programs start in September
5) I may do an MBA in the future, so getting work in a good firm would be very important
6) I am honing my programming and ML skills and I am practising French, which I learnt before to some extent
7) I would like the cohort and extracurriculars to be good
Thanks in advance for your replies
