Hi,
Thanks for sharing this.
I have a few questions, if you don't mind answering -
1. What's the purpose of the optional essay since there's only one mandatory essay? Is it just to clarify any red flags or I can write something else as well to make my candidature stronger?
2. Where is the scholarship essay? I don't see it in the application. Am I missing it?
Thanks a lot!

1. Some schools add in a footnote mentioning what they expect in the optional essay. Since IESE hasn't done that explicitly and there's only one mandatory essay, my view would be to use this space to alleviate any potential concerns (e.g. red flags) or highlight anything noteworthy (i.e. which you absolutely want them to know) which might not be captured in the rest of the application.
2. The scholarship essay is optional and it gets displayed when you select which scholarship(s) you would like to apply to, under "Financing".
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Arvind
