Okay, i get it now ig... so when we put it in a number line -0.3 comes left of -0.2; so whatever that lies between will be lesser than -0.3 whether it is -0.027 or -0.0027 or -0.00027... am i right?
Also thanks much for responding...
APram
Try to put the values on number line

-0.3 will be at the leftmost part
Then will come -0.027 which is a^3 in left of -0.3
Then will come 0.09 ie a^2

So a<a^3<a^2
SwethaReddyL
Bunuel, i still don't understand how -0.3 is lesser than -0.027, isn't the magnitude of 0.027 is lesser than 0.3?? could you please elaborate...
EMPOWERgmatRichC
Hi legendinthewomb,

I think that you mean to say that -0.3 is less than - 0.027 (since -0.3 is further to the 'left' on a Number Line).
