(1) A + B is an even number.
True. - Since 2 is a factor of all even numbers, all prime numbers greater than 2 are odd and so A and B are odd and therefore A+B is even
(2) A x B is also a prime number.
False. - A prime number by definition is one whose only factors are 1 and the number itself. The product A*B has factors 1, A, B and AB and therefore cannot be prime.
(3) A^B is also a prime number.
False. - A prime number by definition is one whose only factors are 1 and the number itself. A^B has factors which 1, A, A^2, A^3....A^B and so A^B cannot be prime
Answer is (D)

A&B=prime number >2 ..........rest all prime numbers are ODD.
(1) A + B is an even number. -> Odd+odd=even..........always
(2) A x B is also a prime number. -> prime x prime ≠ prime.......... example = 3x5=15(not prime).......not possible
(3) A^B is also a prime number. -> prime^prime ≠ prime.example=\(3^5\)=243(not prime).......not possible
Option D is correct since both (2) and (3) is not possible.
