Correct answer: A

(9$)£3

First using A£B=A+B / B
= (9$) + 3 / 3

Now using C$=C+3
= (9 + 3) + 3 / 3
= 15 / 3
= 5

Agree with the solution and solved it via a similar approach.

Essentially we just have to break the equation down in its separate parts and make sure to stick to the order of operation.

Chris

Solution

Given:
    • \(A£B = \frac{(A + B)}{B}\)
    • C$ = C + 3

To find:
    • The value of (9$)£3

Approach and Working:
    • \((9$)£3 = (9 + 3)£3 = 12£3 = \frac{(12 + 3)}{3} = 5\)

Hence, the correct answer is Option A

Answer: A
