Question: If a sequence N has 150 terms, what is the 140th term of sequence N?

Statement 1: The 139th term of sequence T is −416.
But we don't know how the sequence is progressing hence
NOT SUFFICIENT

Statement 2:The first term of sequence N is −2 and each term of the sequence after the first term is 3 less than the preceding term

First term = -2,
Sequence is {-2, -5, -8, -11....} this way we can make series of 150 terms hence 140th term is determinable

$$T_{140} = -2+(-3)*139 = -419$$

SUFFICIENT
