I solved this in 2 mins by mental math. We know avg is 40-43.
We know for each value of M there is a different average. If we increasing the values of M by 1 we get 1/5 increase in average.
So 4 averages and each average has 5 decimal point increases. Thus 4*5=20.

\(40 ≤\frac{(137+M)}{5} ≤ 43\)
\(40*5 ≤ (137+M) ≤ 43*5\)
\(200 ≤ (137+M) ≤ 215\)
\(63 ≤ (M) ≤ 78\)
Total Values from 63 to 78 inclusive = 78-62 = 16
Answer: Option B
