If the circumference of circle R is 2π inches longer than the circumference of circle Q, the radius of R is how many inches longer than the radius of Q?

(A) 1/2π
(B) 1
(C) 4/π
(D) 2
(E) 2π

Let circumference of R =
\(4\pi\) inches = \(\pi*2r\) in
\(4\) in = \(2r\) in
\(r = 2\) inches

Let circumference of Q =
\((4\pi - 2\pi)\) in = \(2\pi\) in
\(2\pi\) in = \(\pi*2r\) in
\(2\) = \(2r\) in
\(r = 1\) inch

Radius of R is (2 - 1) = 1 inch longer than radius of Q.
