Radius = Chord AB

i.e. OAB will be an equilateral triangle where O is the centre of circle


Now by chord AB the angle made at the centre of the circle = 60º

Property: Angle made by a Chord at the centre is always twice the angle made by the same chord at the circumference
As shown in figure

And angle AOB and angle x are made by the same chord at the centre and circumference of the circle respectively

Hence, angle AOB = 2*x = 60º

i.e. x = 30º

Answer: Option B

Although the question is answerable comfortably however there is this one thing which disqualifies this question from being a GMAT like question in my opinion. The un-necessary information 50º in this case is redundant which is not GMAT like question style.
