If x is a positive integer and the sum of its digits is 1, how many digits does x have?

(1) x has exactly two zero digits and no other zero digits.
(2) x is a multiple of 10.

IMO A
let x= abc Given a+b+c=1

Statement 1
states that there are exactly two 0 digits and no other zero digits
x can be 001, 010, 100
But number of digits will be 3 only no matter the order. Hence Sufficient.

Statement 2
states x is a multiple of 10
x can be 10, 100, 1000, 10000 etc etc but does not tell us number of digits x has.
hence insufficient.

Hence A

1. sum of digits is 1, and we have exactly 2 zeroes...the number is 100..sufficient.
2. number can be 10, 100, 1000, 10000....not sufficient.
answer is A.

Question : how many digits does x have?
Since sum of the digits is 1 so the leftmost digit of x must be 1 and rest of the digits must be 0 so we need to find out the number of zeros in z

Statement 1:: x has exactly two zero digits and no other zero digits.
i.e. x must be 100 only, Hence
SUFFICIENT

Statement 2:: x is a multiple of 10
No. of zeros in x may be one or two or three etc, Hence
NOT SUFFICIENT
