(x - 5)(x + 4) > 100
x could be 12, 13....
x >= 12
- Insufficient!
2)Squaring both sides:
(x - 5)(x + 4) < 121
x could be 12, 11... - Insufficient!
x<=12
- Insufficient!
Combining (1) & (2):
x = 12 - Sufficient!

i.e. \((x-5)(x+4) > 100\)
x-5 and x+4 are two numbers separated by 9
i.e. Product of two numbers separated by 9 should be greater than 100
6*15 = 90
7*16 = 112
i.e. x-5 ≥ 7
i.e. x ≥ 12
NOT SUFFICIENT
Statement 2: \(\sqrt{(x-5)(x+4)} < 11\)
i.e. \((x-5)(x+4) < 121\)
6*15 = 90
