I. x^2 < 2x < 1/x

II. x^2 < 1/x <2x

III. 2x < x^2 < 1/x

1) None
2) I only
3) III only
4) I and III only
4) I , II and III

krishan, can you revise the answer choices for typo?
I get I and II, but there is no such choice.

I too got I and II only.

acc to GMATTIGER'S link the 4th option is I and II, so there is deifinitely typo error. Now can u pls explain ur choice?In such cases how shld one chose nos?

to make it easy.. multiple with x throug all options
I x^2 < 2x < 1/x
--> x^3<2x^2 <1
substitiute x=1/2 1/8<1/2<1
II. x^2 < 1/x <2x

--> x^3 <1 <2x^2
here assume value such that 2x^2>1 ..
X= 1/sqrt(2) 2x^2=1
above equation could be answer when x<1 and x>1/sqrt(2)

III. 2x < x^2 < 1/x

-->2x^2 <x^3 <1
