4x + 10 = 7x -5

3x = 15

x = 5.

y = 4x +10

y = 4*5 + 10

y =30.

B is the correct answer.

System of equation; can be solved either through elimination or combination. Elimination is quicker imo.

y = 4x + 10 (x 7)
y = 7x - 5 (x 4)

7y = 28x + 70
4y = 28x - 20 (-)

3y = 30

y = 30

\(4x + 10 = 7x - 5\)

Or, \(3x = 15\)

Or, \(x = 5\)

So, \(y = 4*5 + 10 => 30\) Answer must be (B) \(30\)
