If \(\frac{y}{x}=-1\), then \(y+x=\)

(A) -2

(B) -1

(C) 0

(D) 1

(E) 2

Solution:

Solving for y in terms of x in the first equation, we have:

y = -x

Substituting -x for y in y + x, we have:

-x + x = 0

Answer: C
