Hello Everyone,

I have 7 years of experience in both IT(as a full stack dceveloper) and entreprenurship. My post MBA goal is to get into product management.
I got an admit from IIM Ahemdabad(no scholaprship) and Questrom School of Business (with full scholarship). Please help me decide which one to choose for?

Congratulations on your admission.
Choosing either of the schools totally depends upon your interest. IIMA is a brand in India, but doing a master's degree overseas will give you a unique experience to connect with people from diversified backgrounds.
Plus, Boston is a great city.
You won't go wrong with either, just keep your post-grad goals in mind. Good luck:)

Thanks for writing in and many congratulations.

Your decision should depend completely on where you wish to be after an MBA and what you want this degree for. IIM A is a great brand in India but Questrom will provide you with the much-needed global exposure. The good news is that neither of the two is going to be a wrong decision.

Hi prakhar992 , congratulations on receiving a full scholarship from Questrom! Even if you plan to return to India eventually, you would not have an issue with the Questrom brand provided you demonstrate a promising career trajectory post-MBA in the US in the short term.

Studying on full ride scholarship in the US coupled with PM experience in the States post MBA will set you apart from the pool of IIM grads once you plan to return to India. If you have not had the opportunity to work abroad before, I would recommend you to definitely go for it as this experience will help you to learn and grow in new areas both personally and professionally.

No guarantees on what will be less stressful. Let us put it this way - settling down in your home country will always be simpler as you will have fewer surprises and less to get used to.
