IIM Ahmedabad PGPX Updates for the 2025 intake applicants

Hello,
   Following are the deadlines to keep in mind for IIMA PGPX 2025-26 application cycle:
 
 Round 1: 30 August 2024 
 Round 2: 13 October 2024 
 Round 3: 3 December 2024

The  IIMA PGPX  applicants would be allowed to apply in only one round in the cycle ( as compared to multiple rounds in previous years), so plan your application round selectively.

Hello All , 
I am applying for IIMA - PGPX - 2025 - 26 course . 
I took GMAT focus exam in June and have sent my score to IIM A .
In the application form , there is a requirement of uploading GMAT score sheet .  
As per my understanding GMAC does not provide any score sheet . 
What can be done ?

Take a screenshot of the score report, including the part where your appointment details are visible alongside the scores. You can email this to IIMA PGPX office for a confirmation and then upload.

Does IIM Ahmedabad’s Executive MBA program have a rolling admission process or everyone in a particular round will get their results together?

It is not a rolling process. Everyone gets the results together for a particular round for  IIMA PGPX . For round 1 it is tentatively 11th October 2024.

The essay questions will be sent to you once you are selected for the next round and you have to complete these essays in 2-3 days. 
Some of essays from previous years are : (The essays change every year, not completely, but some changes are always there)
Essay 1. Please describe some of the challenges you faced in the last 3 years of your work life and how you were able to overcome them.
Essay 2. Tell us what is special about you that makes you a good addition to the classroom.
Essay 3. What will a management degree bring to you at this stage of your career?

What Gmat score would be safer for admission. Can anyone clarify the work experience required and also on which date?

There is no safe score, even a 745 may be rejected any day, however, if you consider the past average score - 635/ 645 would be the average, that is a good place to be. However, it is important to consider the percentiles now.

Work Exp - total full time work exp till 31 March 2025 - min 4 years

The average GMAT score for the existing IIM A cohort is 697 (consider it to be 700 in the old GMAT format). Hence, with the FE GMAT, you can aim for 645 and still be good to apply.
We have worked with applicants and helped them secure admission even with a GMAT score of 640+ (Old GMAT format, not FE). So a similarly aligned score will work too, if you have a strong application and clear, concise essays.

Do we need to send official scores via Pearson VUE for applying? The portal has an option of selecting "No" to the question "=15.54pxHave you requested Pearson VUE to report your official score to the IIMA PGPX?"

You can apply using the scorecard you get post completion of the exam. Actual scores can be submitted at a later date and not mandatorily required during the initial application process.
