I am able to score 650. My main problem is in verbal. I have been trying questions from GMAT club. I am able to solve questions which are of 600 - 700 level. I am unable to solve 700 level questions. My GMAT is 9 days from now. What should I do to be able to solve harder questions?
9 days of study may not suffice for a 50 point improvement. Analyze your performance in the sub-sections of verbal. Also , the last week should be mostly spent on reviewing the official CR and SC questions. Also, you GMAT prep test for practice.
-SC -
e-GMAT , Manhattan SC . It is the easiest sub-section in verbal and can be improved in the least amount of time.
-CR - Powerscore,
e-GMAT-RC - Manhattan or Veritas reading strategy - most difficult section to improve
-
e-GMAT's Scholaranium - a decent tool for additional practice.
The last 2-3 days before the GMAT -
Don't try to learn something completely new or take a practice test now. Learning something new or a poor performance on a practice test will have counterproductive results.
-Go through the error logs and revise whatever you have learned till now.
-Familiarize yourself with location of test center
-Drinks and food for the test day
-Most importantly relax and get enough sleep in the last 2 nights before the test and avoid alcohol
Hope this helps!!
