Hi!

I can see why "would be" would be(lol) the right choice to go with.
But if we really are looking into the future, from the past, wouldn't

"would take more than 60 years to complete, the Oxford English Dictionary would be"

be a better answer choice?
(I understand it's not in the answer choices, but every time i read the sentence, my mind automatically finishes it this way. I can't shake it off. Could someone please suggest as to why this would be wrong?)

parth19, essentially the birth and the launch took place at the same time so your suggested sentence would be incorrect IMO.
