Total students : 100
10 do not play any game, so 90 play at least one of the two games.....(i)
20 do not play rugby, so 80 play rugby......(ii)
From (i) and (ii), we get that out of 90 who play at least one game , 70 play rugby, so surely remaining 90-80 or 10 play football alone.
But overall 20 play football, so remaining 20-10 or 10 play rugby too.

In a class of 100 students, 20 play Football, 20 do not play Rugby, 10 play neither of the games. What is the number of students who play both the games?

Given, Total student= 100, Students who play atleast 1 game = 100-10=90

Rugby not = 20, so, Rugby played= 80
only football = 90-80= 10
football and rugby both = No. played Football- only played football = 20-10= 10.

So, I think D. :)

Total number of students = 100

Number of students who play football = 20
So we can calculate Number of students who do not play football = 100-20 = 80

Number of students who do not play Rugby = 20
So we can calculate the Number of students who play Rugby = 100-20 = 80

Number of students who do not play neither of the game = 10

Number of students who played both = Number of students who played football - Number of students who played Neither of sport = 20-10 = 10

GIVEN:
The total students = 100
The total students playing football = 20
The total students not playing rugby = 20
The total students neither playing football nor playing rugby= 10
