Total votes =1800
Frau’s vote share = 3 / (4+3+2) *1800
=> 3/9 *1800
=> 1800/3
=> 600
OptionD.

Thanks Abhishek009 for pointing out the mistake.

\(D : F : B = 4 : 3 : 2\)

Thus F received , \(\frac{1800}{( 4 + 3 + 2)}*3 = 600\) votes, Answer must be (D)

Please check the highlighted part, total votes casted is 1800 not 1200

We can create the ratio:

Mr. Dyer : Ms. Frau : Mr. Borak = 4x : 3x : 2x and create the equation:

1800 = 4x + 3x + 2x

1800 = 9x

200 = x

So Ms. Frau received 3 * 200 = 600 votes.

Answer: D
