let one side of the triangle be n
then the other 2 sides will be n+2 & n+4

n+(n+2)+(n+4) = 24
n = 6

sides are 6,8,10. This is in proportion with 3-4-5 triangle. So, this is a right angle triangle.
So, we can take 6 & 8 as short leg and long leg.

Area of a triangle = 1/2 * base * height

= 1/2 * 6 * 8 = 24

Answer E

Let's say sides are x-2, x, and x+2 for easier calculation.

X-2+X+X+2= 24

hence X= 8

So sides will be 6,8,10

which is a right angle triangle with sides . ( 6,8,10 )

Hence area will be 1/2 * 6* 8 = 24

Hence option E
