Area = 30
1/2 * 12 * x = 30
6x = 30
x = 5
12^2 + 5^2 = a^2
a^2 = 144+25
a^2 = 169
a = 13 = AB
Triangle BCD
4^2 +y^2 = 5^2
16 + y^2 = 25
y^2 = 25-16
y^2 = 9
y=3 = DC
AB+DC = 13+3 = 16
Answer D
