Let, the dotted line originating from B on AC = BD

Now, CD $$= √(3^2-√5^2) = 2$$
i.e. $$AD = 10-2 = 8$$

Now, AB = $$√(AD^2+BD^2) = √(8^2+√5^2) = √(64+5) = √69$$
