Given
    • x=0 is the perpendicular bisector of line segment AB.
    • Coordinates of point A are (4,−1).

To find
    • Coordinates of point B.

Approach and Working out:
    • x is the perpendicular bisector of line segment AB.
o Hence, x is the midpoint of AB.

Let coordinates of point B= (a, -1)
    • Y coordinate of point B will be same as y coordinates of point A as AB is perpendicular to x=0.

Coordinates of x= (0,-1)
    • 0 = \(\frac{4 +a}{2 }\)
      o a = -4

coordinates of point B= (-4, -1)

Hence, option C is the correct answer.
Correct Answer: Option C

Bunuel, would this topic still be tested? I understand Coordinate Geo is out, but algebra is still tested with some Geo concepts. Thanks!

Based on the questions we see in the Official Guide and GMAT Prep, I doubt this type of question is still relevant.
