By figure y+x+x=180
y+2x=180
Given: 80 ≤ y ≤ 100
Min value of x
=> y=100 => 100+2x=180 => x=80/2 =40
Max value of x
=> y=80 => 80+2x=180 => x=100/2 =50
ie 40 ≤ x ≤ 50
Answer: B
y+2x=180
Given: 80 ≤ y ≤ 100
Min value of x
=> y=100 => 100+2x=180 => x=80/2 =40
Max value of x
=> y=80 => 80+2x=180 => x=100/2 =50

Sum of angles of triangle = 180 deg
So, 2x+y = 180 -> 2x = 180 - y ...........(i)
Also 80 ≤ y ≤ 100.............(ii)
From (i) & (ii), 80 ≤ 2x ≤ 100
40 ≤ x ≤ 50
