Equation for line L in intercept format: x/a1+y/b1=1
Slope will be -b1/a1
Equation for line K in intercept format: x/a2+y/b2=1
Slope will be -b2/a2
Then question stem ask us whether (-b1/a1)*(-b2/a2) is negative or not.
Statement 1 : gives only signs of product a1 and a2. No sign indication of product of b1 and b2. There A alone insufficient.
Statement 2 : gives only signs of product of b1 and b2. No sign indication of product a1 and a2. Therefore B alone insufficient.
On combining we get product of a1 and a2 positive and product of b1 and b2 negative. Therefore product of slope is negative. Sufficient. Hence answer C.

To make using this editor easy, I am naming lines as 1 and 2
and thier x and y intercepts as x1, x2, y1 and y2
slope of line 1 = -y1/x1
slope of line 2 = -y2/x2
product of slopes = (y1*y2)/(x1*x2)
since numerator is -ve and denominator is +ve, product of slopes is -ve
