There's a good chance your problems are related to test taking skills. Focus on trying to understand how you can improve your consistent process in quant questions. Often what's holding peoples' scores back is their APPROACH to questions -- not conceptual gaps.

Look for consistent errors like missing information in the prompt, poor visualisation or choosing the wrong calculation path when estimation is a possiblility.

The focus on test taking skills is particularly useful given you want an impact in a week or two, something a lot of our clients get by focusing on approach to GMAT questions.

Hey! I can relate to the challenge of improving quant scores in a short time. Since you're already using an error log, maybe try focusing on high-yield topics that frequently appear on the GMAT. Also, consider timed practice sets to simulate test conditions and identify pacing issues. Have you tried redoing incorrect questions after a few days without looking at the solutions? It might help reinforce concepts. If you're struggling with specific topics, feel free to share—I’d be happy to discuss strategies!

I don't think you can't hit 82.

Instead I am of firm opinion that you should have everything to hit 82 in this much time.

You need to have a very clear focus on how you want to proceed and what you should do in less than 30 days to accomplish the target.

Let me help you with it with a free trial session ... reach me out on w h a t s a p p .. you can find my contact detail on www.Gmatinsight.com

WHat is impressive and surprising both is you are getting much better score in DI than in Quant.

Since many students spend may be 3 months to improve their quant by 4-6 points, therefore I am curious to know what have you kept that target of improving 4-6 points in Q in just a week or so?

I think you should take a better expert opinion before you makethis decision because the process of retaking exam is always daunting for everyone and drains the energy and emotions both.

In case you are interested, we can discuss about your assessment more indetail. Let me know if you feel like sharing. :)

Thank you, apart from Data Sufficiency I never really had issues with the DI part, only practiced a bit for timing.
After relearning basics and practicing manual calculation I felt I had pretty good progress but now it feels like I've hit a plateau and I'm not really progressing further now.

The reason for the timeline is mostly due to deadline submission for my target school, I have less than 30 days before the deadline sadly.
Understand I may not be able to hit 82 but I'd like to get as close as possible.

Came to thanks the people who commented and give an update.

Re-took the test today and scored a 79 in the quant section which shows some progress.
Sadly, I encountered some confusing questions in the DI part and my overall score remains at 595.

I have 1 more opportunity to re-take the test before submission deadline.
