Hello everyone,

I am in the process of wrapping up my application for Rd2.
INSEAD is my number one choice, and currently my first (and hopefully last!) B-school application.
I know it's generally advised to save your top schools for later, but I am keen on the Jan start (with a summer internship), and have been investing the time to complete a fully prepared application.

My profile:
low gpa - 2.75 from Columbia
3.5 years full-time WE (4 years by next Jan)
Very strong international, entrepreneurial experience in New Media & Consumer Web
760 GMAT (93% v, 95% q)

Actually spent the last few days reading through this thread from start to finish, looking for tips/insights along the application process. Sounds like quite a journey most of you Rd 1 applicants have been going through.

Once I submit my application, I'm sure I'll be going through the same stress regarding interviews and acceptance notifications :)

Congrats to everyone who has been accepted thus far - best of luck to all who are waiting or still applying.
Hopefully be seeing many of you next January!

Hi artgirl, I heard from CT at around 9 AM eastern. I would not lose hope until tomorrow afternoon (EDT). By then most decisions should be out. Goodluck.

I got a mail from MLP that they need a hard copy of my original GMAT score sheet. I would not be told the final outcome until they receive the hard copy of my score sheet. Tomorrow is a public holiday in Singapore and hence I think I have to wait at least till Tuesday to hear back from INSEAD.

I hope I can survive the wait.

The other 7/10 (the guy was septic of my need to do an MBA as I have business exp.). All questions were regular. Just now (30 minutes ago) heard from Isabelle that I was accepted and will get an email today or tomorrow :)!!!!

After the excruciating wait, I got an admit call from CT at 7.45am local time in California. Starting in Singapore. For those that are waiting, pls stay tuned and do not lose hope. Wish you the best. She reminded it so late.. :!:
My coordinator is also MLP, and she gave me the same kind of email 4 weeks ago to request my original TOEIC score. I have sent one already but I didn't receive any followup since then, so I am now kind of worried about it.

I think you can take it as a good sign since if they decided not to accept, they don't have to check your original score report. :)

I am not sure how to interpret the situation. Definitely its a mistake on my part - I should have taken care of all the requirements. The surprising thing is, I did inform Pearson to send my report to INSEAD a year back, and apparently there was an issue on their end. It was nice of MLP to consider me still in R1.
