Guys,

I am planning to apply in R2 and have a question. In tha application there is a question "Briefly summarise your most recent job responsibilities", this is besides the the job description essay.

I have already defined my job description in the "Please give a detailed description of your job," essay. So how can I best utilize this space?

In my case, I used the job responsibilities description that my employer has issued in the office to summarise job responsibilities. You know, a Memo that is issued to outilne your exact responsibilities. Perhaps that will help. In any case, I think the job description will flow from the brief description of the responsibilities.

I'm facing a similar issue - in the "Briefly summarise your most recent job responsibilities" section I have a short list of bullet points, and the "Please give a detailed description of your job" essay basically is an elaboration of the bullet points... if anyone has any advice regarding how they approached these two similar sections it would be much appreciated!

jdhanoa, your approach seems fine, I wouldn't worry too much about this. Also, you might want to lay off on this for another 24 hrs. I have a feeling you'll get a much better response after all R1 decisions are out, people are a little stressed out on this thread right now.

working on my essays....do you think it is wise to spend words in the goals/why INSEAD essay talking about clubs, contribution to INSEAD, etc? where do you end up talking about how you will contribute to INSEAD?
