I am trying to avoid going back to the essays and examining them. Will look at them once I start my next app :-)

I gave the best I could before the deadline and there is always room for improvement. :-)

oh man, who has time to look back at essays you've already written when there are so many more essays for other schools to write?? :lol:

I have not even looked at my essays from the day I have submitted. Well, there is always a better way to do, but I guess we all did our best. So where else are you guys applying to, i am thinking of LBS as one option

i already got dinged by H&S last year. am working on CBS ED now. considering LBS as well but I actually turned down an acceptance there 2 years ago (got a random great job offer so took that instead). not sure if that means they will frown upon me this time around if i apply again

you should get it in the next few days, latest by middle of next week. Ideally, they say it takes within 2 weeks from submission.

To all the admits from R1 - Has everyone received the paper copy of the offer letter from INSEAD? I am finding it difficult to resign from my job just basing on an email

Did you receive your paper copy? I'm in the U.S., it took about a week for it to arrive.

I don't think you can go wrong with Darden or UT Austin. However, going to INSEAD doesn't mean you're necessarily going to live and work overseas. An INSEAD MBA can give you a competitive advantage over graduates from U.S. schools because of the international element (business is more global every day). Also, if you check the INSEAD literature, many of the top U.S. firms recruit very heavily at INSEAD.

Hi All,

This is my first post, I applied R2 Jan 2011 intake, received my application complete from CT. does anyone know when we should hear back about whether or not we are moving forward with an interview or getting dinged? I know the deadline is not for a few weeks but was curious when we should start to hear. I have been admitted to a few other programs and am anxious that I will miss the opportunity due to waiting to hear back from INSEAD.

I have been accepted at Columbia Business School, IE Business School and was dinged from HBS. I only applied to these four schools. Right now I am leaning towards IE but would go to INSEAD if I get the nod.
