Any applicants on this thread that have a Canadian undergrad? If so, how did you report/convert percentage marks on transcripts to a 4.0 CGPA scale? Thanks.

I do feel CBS is better known and more respected especially in the us however ie is relitively new and focuses more on entrepreneurship. Banking and finance CBS definitely has a leg up on ie but on a global education and more complete experience I feel ie is a better fit but you bring up a valid argument. This is why I have had such a hard time deciding.

Thoughts or insights from anyone else? Is my logic off?

Just got the confirmation of the 'app complete' for R2...

This is going to be a difficult wait... I have only applied to INSEAD and hence am really counting on this one.

Anyone from Singapore who has applied for R2?

Best of luck guys!

Hi mysamgmatclub. The students admitted to INSEAD get access to an online system called MBA Connect, which basically has all info about the current batch. (INSEADers please correct me if I am wrong).

You can get statistics like how my admits from which country and what gender from MBA connect.

Here is some bedtime reading on INSEAD :) :
INSEAD's 2009 Employment Statistics are out: https://mba.insead.edu/documents/MBA_EMP ... ISTICS.pdf
86% of 2009 INSEAD grads found jobs 3 months out of graduation.. only 17% found jobs in Finance related fields but 44% accepted corporate jobs in Industry.

Does not make for very pleasant reding I am afraid especially for people interested in finance ...
The summer internships dont look too good as well and unlike previous years they have not given the breakdown
by numbers of how many students were hired by each company .

And Mckinsey hiring 76 of which 49 were previous Mckinsey guys !! ,I just hope 2009 wa an anamoly at best

Does anyone have any idea if the 2010 summer intern numbers have seen a substantial improvement ?

Once you get admitted, how long do you have to give your deposit and confirm your acceptance?

About a month, but I understand that they grant you upto 2 weeks extension , provided you have a legitimate reason while requesting for the same.

i'm guessing "i want to hear my decision from another school first" is not a legitimate reason...?
