Dear Friends,
I have recently decided to apply for INSEAD Sep 2012 intake. I am targeting R2 closing 07-Dec-2011. I have to prepare and take GMAT, TOEFL and also complete my application (essays) by then.
I wanted to get your opinion - is targeting 07-Dec application deadline realistic?
Also a few specific questions:
1. When latest can i schedule my GMAT before 07-Dec so that i can send my score to INSEAD by 07-Dec?
2. Do i need to take TOEFL? I am an Indian, English is not my native language but i have throughout studied in English medium.
3. Can we submit the supporting documents online (so that i can do it just 1-2 days before the deadline and save time in sending it to France by post)
Please comment.
Thanks in advance
1. It depends on your abilities and your available time. If you have the capacity to score a very high GMAT and can take at least a couple weeks off work to do some serious preparation then it is very realistic.
The latest you can schedule the exam is the 7th of December since you only need to report your score at the time of submission of the application. Although I would recommend submitting your application at least a couple weeks ahead of the deadline.
2. If you have received a degree which was officially taught in English then you should not require a TOEFL test. Please read the language policy on INSEAD's website.

Although, I do not see why you should worry about this now since you have months ahead of you to arrange your transcripts to be sent if needed. In any case you do not post your GMAT they receive it electronically from GMAC so even if you take the test the same day as the deadline this is not a problem.
