Hello All,

As a part of the app evaluation do the adcom add you on linkedin by any chance ? Received a request from a very senior Partner of a consulting Firm (INSEAD alum) who I dont know, so was just wondering.

I dont have a linked-in. I didnt think that that ADcom would have alumni on it. I thought it was gonna be admissions people and professors. Could it just be a coincidence? You are in the same industry, maybe he's heard about you and wants to hire you?

my profile was investigated by one of my interviewers, but only after I revealed myself looking at his. considering that admission committee consists of alumni as well, then it's quite probable.

if it's true than this is actually one more point one has to take care of during application - linkedin profile should not contradict data from the application and essays

Interviewer would have been fine. But I just submitted my app in round 2 on 12th so no result yet. Was on a long vacation after that, just accepted his request and realized now that my profile is not well updated. Its not contradictory atleast so it should be fine. Will update if I get interview call ;-)

docks007, we are R2 folks. Lets start our stuff once these guys are done.

I am quietly reading the excitement and anxiety shared by Chicken tikka, cyberhawk , ducceus, and riseNshine. Guys, your excitement can be well felt. I wish you all the very best, from the bottom of my heart. Just like you, i am also waiting anxiously for your "hip hip hurray" posts! Lets keep our fingers crossed i guess the confirmations will start flowing tomorrow!

okey, 9 am in France. adcom will come, as usual, get some coffee with fresh croissants and start rolling out the calls. based on last year's experience, most of us will hear starting tomorrow. but i hope someone following this forum will receive it today. the hardest part is to wait until the first message i think

For R1 applicants, the adcom must have completed the decision process by end of last week. For them, today is probably preparing a plan of action - who to call first/when to call regarding different time zones/preparing emails/etc. We should (hoping all of us got in!!) start hearing from tomorrow. Fingers crossed for all, best of luck!

Cyberhawk, I thought you already have an admit ? I read in some post earlier. By the way, one of my x-colleague who is joining INSEAD in this August received a job offer from his interviewer who was a CEO of some Firm.


Subbu, we dont really have anything to discuss to right now, so we can only wait. I have seen INSEAD club reps are super active in connecting on linkedin. I might have visited his profile and so got the invitation I guess.
