INSEAD -January 2014 Intake - Calling All Applicants

Not started yet, I have 2 days to write all of my essays, gonna be busy!!

I might have the same problem as you, and wondering about that as well. However, according to INSEAD website:
If your application is completed after the deadline, it will
be reviewed for the next round or for the following intake (for last round applicants).

For people asking about the word limit, + 10% is okay for INSEAD, according to their Step-by-Step guide, but you should try to keep it to the word limit because it is a good summarizing exercice (I translate that as try not to have all of your essays by +10%).

Finally, I will be submitting 3 recommendation letters, and I'm wondering if anyone knows how the 3rd recommendation letter is submitted. I know I will get to upload it to the application once I have submitted, but unfortunately I have not submitted yet and I am wondering if I will get to upload it myself or if I will have to generate a link for my recommender to submit it as well. Can anyone help?

After submitting the form, it takes you to a page where you upload your pic along with additional documents. i saw one of the option was to upload the 3rd reco. I marked it as not applicable but it will allow you you upload the file yourself.

Does anyone know how long it takes between submitting your app and getting confirmation your file is in order from your Admissions Co-ordinator?

Lucky you guys All potential people to review my essays were abroad so I had to review them myself several times. I still have the "Goals" essay to finalize. Plus I still haven't heard from one of my recommenders....Yikes...

Skientist, you will not get a confirmation that your file is in order, but in case there is anything missing you will be notified within two weeks by the admissions department.

Can anyone explain how you find out if your referees have submitted or not?

One of mine is telling me that they have, yet I haven't received an email from INSEAD?

Hi Kohsamed,

You won't receive an email from INSEAD.

Once you submit your application, you will receive an ID which will allow you to access the INSEAD application website. You can see whether a recommendation has been successfully submitted there.

Hi Kohsamed,
You can click on the Recommendation links to see their status.
If the letter is already submitted, then it will show you the following message:
"This recommendation for XXXX has been submitted and made available to the Admissions Office. Thank you."

Submitted my application..about 4 and a bit hours before the deadline..hoping my recommenders are able to submit the rec's soon too.

Also I have submitted the transcripts, but couldnt submit the degree ceritifcates, as as per my understanding only 1 file could be uploaded. How do I submit the other docs?

I understand that INSEAD will send everyone of us an email confirming whether our Application is complete or any other data/information is missing.
In case that there is something missing, will we be able to submit it by then? Or we have to wait until the next Round?
