Any possibility that we hear from the school as early as Mon/Tue?
I just cannot handle the stress any more !

I predict that I'm having a very-low-productivity-week ...

I think i've seen previous intake's threads and there were accepts on friday. In fact, I haven't confirmed the "by Wednesday" part... I've seen more accepts and WL on friday than on any other day.

cheers

Check the R1 admission blogs. Calls started coming in on the Wednesday (15 December). So l guess the "by Wednesday part is correct. I am a bundle of nerves right now. Productivity = zero

Dear mate, my productivity is even negative, as I called a colleague-friend complaining about the stress ...

So if this week can be divided into 10 portions, we'are in the middle of the 2nd portion of it. News will start coming as soon as the 5th portion, so hang on there everyone !

Yeah I've seen that as well. I was referring to the "probably going to be a WL or a ding"...

oh well! I just want to know the result fast! I can't work like this... you're on the brink of changing your life and they don't tell you if it's going to happen or not!

Are they calling / emailing from 9am (Paris time) Wednesday, or only starting in the afternoon?
I guess it depends on the time zone where we are located ?

In December, the first result reported on this forum was on Wednesday, 9:10am Paris time. It was an admit (Sing campus) for a candidate based in UAE.

Then reports of admits / WL / dings kept up throughout the day. So we can expect to hear as soon as they start working in Paris on Wed.

Do you know whether the first wave of good news was addressed to European or interntaional applicants?

I'm guessing international applicants located to the east of Paris, i.e. Asia/Australia (due to time differences) will be contacted during the first part of the day (Paris time). But i don't actually know that for sure- it would just make sense.

yeah Cille, I would speculate exactly the same. Don't know if it was the case for R1 though...

Based on this theory, they would call US West Coast applicants around 6pm (Paris time) right before leaving the office... coz that's when the day starts in the States.

As for european applicants, they can call pretty much whenever they want to ...

I couldn't really detect a pattern but the first few were based in UAE, Switzerland, Holland, Singapore. As Cille stated, these are all east of Paris. The North American calls seem to have started around 6 hours after the first calls (which makes sense due to the time difference).
