I received an interview invite last Friday as well...a bit earlier than thought.

Wow, thirdbird, you waited until March 15 to file application? thought the deadline was March 9. You are so calm:-)

Hi ddingo123,

I also submitted my application on March 9, just a few hours before the final deadline.

I'm probably a bit on the "diversity" side. I'm a 33-year-old female journalist working for a global financial news organization. I hold Chinese passport, but have been studying and working in New York for the past 9 years. GMAT 710. 7 years work experience. I'm also a CFA charterholder.

Female, 27, IT background mostly, looking to start my own Technology Solutions firm, started two NGOs, GMAT-680, GPA 4.0 out of 5.0 (not sure how to convert that)

I see that a few people have been invited for interviews already for R3. Is it normal that people are invited for interviews before the deadline? Are interview invites sent out right up to the deadline day or is it just the dings on the last day? Thanks!

From R2 experience, yes pple are invited for interviews before the deadline. most of the pple from R2 that got interview call up were all emailed before the deadline. there are now abt close to 450 admits on MBA Connect. So if u use an average intake of btwn 500 to 525, R3 competition myt be very stiff. This is jus my gestimate....nothing to substintiate it

I just looked back at the posts on here leading up to the R2 interview decision deadline. It seems that the offers went out bit by bit across a couple of weeks. Quite a few people got interview invites on the final day. The dings started to come in on the penultimate day!
