R3 Applicant and just received my invite via email yesterday.

Female/American - living in Singapore/31

I was told that there are over 50 Americans that were admitted already. I am pleasantly surprised that I was able to get an interview still considering the 10% cap. Keeping my fingers crossed that my background and experiences are different enough from those that were already admitted.

Congratulations to everyone else that received their invites! Good luck to those still waiting.

I dont think INSEAD will be hell bent on number of slots per country. 1 more good profile wont harm the batch or school :-)

Does anyone know when the deadline is for completing R3 interviews? And do you put yourself at a disadvantage if you interview closer to the deadline? Thanks!

Hi,

Long time lurker first time poster here. I'm also a R3 applicant who submitted last March 8. I received my interview confirmation last March 26 and the alumni details the week after. I went ahead with the interviews right away since over here in the Philippines the country shuts down when it's holy week. Now I'm just waiting for the admission results. I would suggest that you research your interviewers beforehand via linkedin or some other way. In my case I prepared myself to explain my job to non-IT and non-MNC people because of the profile of my interviewers.

Hi all,

Is anyone aware of the details regarding the recent UK work visa changes particularly for non-EU citizens?

Do you need a normal work visa to do a summer internship in London or is it a special one?
What about post-MBA, any details on that?

FYI I'm a Canadian citizen if that helps at all.

Looking at the R1 and R2 threads, INSEAD doesn't start to give out admission news until a week before the deadlines. I don't recall what the actual deadline date is for R3 since INSEAD has updated their website with 2012 and 2013 intakes. Can someone remind me what the official final decision date is for R3 Sept 2011 intake?

One was great and he said that I was a great fit to INSEAD, the other one I'm not sure about (he seemed to believe that a one-year MBA didn't fit a non-economist, maybe he was just testing me). Both interviewers was very pleasant and I had a very nice time. Both spent much time discussing and sharing their experiences at INSEAD. Just waiting for the final decision now.

I remember the deadline is 15th May. I had two interviews in early Apr. The alumni were very friendly. They did not follow standard interview questions but discussed specific questions, like how multinational company can enter IT market in China, to evaluate. Let's wait for good news together. :)

All interviews were supposed to be done by the end of April... And final decisions are to be announced by the end of next week. i.e. it may be a bit late but you should react today and call insead straight away...

I had my interviews in April and the wait starts to be stressful...

I would not worry about it. I was advised to complete my interviews by mid May. And I very very recently completed my second interview. I am sure the admissions office will not hold the delay against you.
