There are many benefits to timing your practice, including:
I just emailed my coordinator to see if the majority of invites had already gone out and got this out-of-office reply:
Thank you very much for your email message and sorry to have missed you. I will be out of the office until November the 3rd. Please rest assured that I will respond to your message upon my return on the 4th.
So she is obviously not sending anything else out until the 4th / 5th and I would venture to guess that the others are all out as well. Seems to stack up to the historical account from alumni of lots being sent out the last two days.
I doubt its a cynical ploy to not have to respond. INSEAD is well known for being particularly responsive. The 3rd is the last day of the holiday break mentioned previously in this thread.
I'd rather not mention her name, admissions folks sometimes look in on these threads.
To give u some relief, i also contacted INSEAD Admissions and received their auto-reply email stating they're on vacation and will get back on the 2nd (in fact, i have already been pre-selected for interview, and both my interviews are during this week). So INSEAD is not avoiding anyone It's a Public Holiday and for sure not invitations were sent during the past 4-5 days. I suppose invitations will start to flow starting tomorrow!
Those who had received invites, can you share what the subject line for the "pre-select" email looks like? If mine doesn't look like that, I won't open it.

Mine was (without quotes) "INSEAD : Pre-selection"

AI, are you sure that was the first one you received from INSEAD? I got that one as well, as the follow up to the original "Pre-Selection" e-mail though.
yea... this email header thing was a meaningful exercise
anyways completed both my interviews, 90min/30min, both in respective office, very senior people, 10+ year alumni, half the time was spent on discussing their experience whilst there.
