R2 decision deadline in couple of days.. lets hope they will notify waitlisted candidates too... keeping my fingers crossed.. good luck everybody else..
Without being too pessimistic, don't forget that it also means that new R2 candidates would join us here at the waiting list.

In any case, i'm keeping my fingers crossed.

And I am probably the first waitlisted from R2 showing on this topic!

Do you have any news from the adcom?

I am curious to whether you receive notification that your application is no longer being considered or if they just let it run until it is forgotten...
In addition does anyone know if the R1 waitlisted are combined with the R2 waitlisted?

waitlisted candidates are combined from all rounds. Having been a round 1 waitlister myself, I can say it is not the worst news. INSEAD wait list is pretty short and the in take rate is pretty high. Keeping your finger crossed and hope that someone with a similar profile to you does not accept the offer.

It will be helpful if you share your profile.

MBA connect had 190 people till yesterday and 189 today. I don't think R2 admits will get access to MBA connect till a few more days yet.

Hi Dessa, count me in (M/28/Indian/CPA+CFA/5yrs Fin Research/750).

I have been very non-reactive since the W/L news, dont really know what it means, but it really leaked out all the enthusiasm i had for Insead/MBA

this is what i got from this thread on R1 W/Ls. Seems like the coversion ratio was 1:3.

Disclaimer: concluded from data available through posts and i cannot be held responsible for any emotional reaction (positive or negative).

I'm personally losing hope (33% success rate), more so as I already sopt 4 more Indians on the waitlist, so extremely competetive.

i believe those from R1 have chances here at those two dates, and people from R2 waitlist will mostly move after R3 calls are given (15th April) ....... there is, however, a flaw in my thought process as Insead says they do not list people in any order, thus R2 waitlist also have chances on the next 2 dates, at least after Mar 25 definitely ........ let's see, didnt sleep well last night at all (stared at the ceiling till 3am), i'd probably been too optimistic and went in a state of shock

You seem to have a solid background and I'm surprised that you were waitlisted.
I know GMAT is not everything, but I was quite happy with my score (770) when I applied. And I was waitlisted. Well, I realize, I had to admit that there are a lot of areas that I can improve on, and accept the fact that there are people with similar background better than me.
Keep improving, with a MBA or not, and never lose hope.

    Hi myrat,

even I believed that I'd be different from what a usual Indian applicant is like and would get in to add to diversity ....... i still do not know what was the hole in my app ....... may be they found me a boring and ONLY career oriented fellow (my acads and professional growth is good, but i've weak ECs)

good luck to all on W/L
