Hi All,

I actually needed some help. Not sure if this is the right thread for seeking help

I have started my application for September 2012 intake and I wanted to know about the need based scholarships. I think it would be difficult for me to meet the cost of fees for the program and hence will not be able to join without a financial aid. Request if you guys can guide me on this

1. What is criteria and process to apply for need based scholarship

2. I am not sure if I will be able to submit my application in R2 for insead, will that hurt my chances for scholarship

Thanks for your help

Hi Anujk,

As this is the threat for last year, you are best to repost your question on the Sept 2012-2013 forum at the below link.

From what I know your chances of attaining a scholarship will be greatly impacted by a R3 application. Most scholarships are awarded to applicants in R1 and R2. There are few that will take R3 applicants into consideration. Infact, you will need to apply to R2 scholarships even before you know if you have made it into INSEAD. The end date for apply to most is a few weeks before the decision date that INSEAD informs you for your result.

In terms of Criteria, you can find all of that scholarship information at https://mba.insead.edu/schlmgmt/
During the process they will ask you about your income, savings, family income, and a few others to show if you truely have a need for the money. As you said that you might not be able to make the payment, it sounds like you could be a good candidate for such scholarships.

Good luck on your application,
