I'm also on the WL. Happy to know we are only few people on the WL
Let's hope it stays this way. Less people on the waitlist, more chance to get in 8-)

Can you share your profile, grossesc?

Count me in. It is not the best news, but it certainly could be much worse!

I guess I will have to keep on biting my nails for a bit longer.

i'm in guys.. not sure if this is good news or bad news :)

to start with, i emailed by admissions coordinator and an assistant admissions director on.. HOW LONG does this whole waitlist process take ? I asked specifically when is the MAX time that i would hear from INSEAD if i got admitted.. or in other words.. when should i consider myself rejected if didn hear from them..

i'll post u guys as soon as i get a reply..
n if any of u have any insights on this one please share..

good luck ..

Count me in as well.
I was reading through January 11 waiting list thread and saw there was good movement in the waitlist. I hope that happens for us too.

I meant that movement started about couple of months after Round 1 results( In end of July 2010). There was big movement after 2 months in July and then people got calls few times in between as well. Last admit calls were sent to those waitlisted candidates on December 3 i.e. few days back.

I think it was more like, people got calls after interview calls were made and decisiosn were released for R2 and R3. This is what I observed.

I agree none of us would want to wait that long. I really hope we dont need to, but have no option but to see historical patterns. FOr waitlist, it can change from year to year I guess.

HI All,

Count me in.

Indian/Female/30 yrs/730 gmat/ 7 yrs IT.

I am thinking of starting to apply to other colleges for round 2. Can anyone suggest some other colleges they are applying to? I am thinking of LBS, HBS and IMD to start with. IE and ESADE are also not out.

I am more interested in 1 yr program as against 2 yrs.

Cheers

The Jan 2012 waitlist thread in this website is very interesting.
The good news are that there was allot of movement. It was usually after the first installment was due. That way, accepted candidates who decided against INSEAD freed up seats to the waitlist candidates.
The bad news were that some people got accepted only in December (1-2 months before the beginning of the program!)

I will start to work on my plan B applications now (I will start with IE). Good luck everybody!

I've read through the link above. It seems that there is not much that we can do at this moment? Unless there are significant changes in our lives that we can tell the admission coordinator.

Speaking of which, I don't know who my coordinator is. All emails so far were sent using a generic mailbox and no names given. Is it the same for you guys?

No, I had a specific coordinator: Isabelle Ramos.

Hey guys,

Add me to the Waitlist :)

From previous threads, i know that more than 50% of the waitlisted get admitted... even if 1 month prior to the program.
Insead's email clearly mentions that the Waitlist is reviewed on a monthly basis, and we can expect an email or a phone call at anytime. Plus i have received an email from my INSEAD coordinator (Isabelle Ramos) stating the following:
"There is no ranking on the waitlist, so the number of candidates on the waitlist is irrelevant. The Admissions Committee selects people from the waitlist based on specific criteria such as nationality, educational and professional background. This is to ensure the optimal mix of students is achieved on both campuses."

So keep your fingers crossed, everything is possible... it's a Luck game in the end!

Good Luck for all
