Even they said the review will be monthly,­ as doing some research, I found that the WL will get offer after R4 final decision, typically begin at the start of october (based on the information in webboard).

However, there is no certainty criteria about getting out of WL because this circumstances shall be occur from various reasons, most of successful one really did something to improve themselves and demonstrate to AO.

Let's keep update, I do understand your feeling !

As I know, scholarship will be considered even you are on the waiting list (you just need to apply on R1-R3). But the result will be shown after got offered so I think it's better to focus on how can we get off the waiting list.

I'm pretty confident I got R3 WL because of my ultra low GRE score (310). I was surprised I even got interviwed tbh. I know their email said that new info won't change their decision, but I was thinking of rewriting GRE later this month and sending them a new score if I do significantly better

I would say that they give more concern about nationality and profesional experience to diversify their class rather than the GRE score, but in case anything you can do, I still suggest you to do... encouragement to you !!

No, I was concerned about "new info won't change their decision " what does that mean ? We shouldn't communicate to school while on waitlist or what ?

The email said this:

There is no ranking on the waitlist, so the number of candidates on the waitlist is irrelevant. The Admissions Committee selects people from the waitlist based on specific criteria such as nationality, educational and professional background. This is to ensure the optimal mix of students is achieved on both campuses.
There was a lot more but this was the gist of the rank part. I think its a generic email.­

I agree. Not worth pestering them with email. Best to wait for a decision. I do think though if someone like me who is considering rewriting the GMAT or GRE and scores significantly better, then it might be worth just updating them

Someone on Jan intake group posted about admissions today,I don't know are they a waitlist acceptance or round 4 because round 4 still has interview notification deadline tomorrow. . I feel we are walking blind 😞
